Oh man. I am having a severe case of the missing my tall, handsome, funny, relaxed, best friend/ boyfriend named Grant syndrome! I am sitting her at my desk in my very cozy bedroom just wasting time because my mind is preoccupied with love. I don't want to study for my final, I don't want to clean my house, I don't want to do anything except be in Arizona!! Gahhh!!!!
Ok, after I have a little bit of a vent session I will return to studying and I will study hard for 2 hours until pilates then I will come home and study more. I need to do super good on my exercise physiology final tomorrow! I also need to take the final by like noon. Maybe I will take it tonight.... hhmmm maybe.
So onto other news. I find out if I get accepted to the study abroad on Friday. I am feeling really ok about it. If I get accepted I will be super excited if not then I will be super excited too, either way my life will be great. Also, I am taking 17 credits in the fall! Two business classes! (They fulfill requirements for my major) I am excited and nervous. The most credits I have ever taken was 16.5 and that was pretty tough but it was also winter semester and I was sick the whole time so hopefully this semester will not be a repeat. I have a feeling it will be great. I am excited to be busy again. Grant will be starting school for the first time post mission so I am really excited for him! I just wish we were in the same state studying together! Oh well, with time. I am slowly learning patience, yay. (it is really not that much fun)
I am going to Arizona on Saturday. Yessss! I will be there for two whole weeks! Kelsees reception will be in one week from tomorrow! It will be way fun to go to the reception with Grant :) I am secretly hoping we get to dance together at the reception, hopefully they have dancing! I tried making him dance with me in the kitchen last time I was home haha it was pretty great for me, I think he probably thought I was a freakkkk. But alas he still likes me so I guess he likes weird girls, who knows!
Ok I feel better now; ready to conquer studying! I am going to do it.
I will study.
Ready.
Set.
Study.
Now.
ha I am really going to!
Muah!

Summer time!
Hello everyone!!
Life has changed so much lately! It has been crazy! First, Mercedez got baptised! YAY! I got to go home for the baptism and it was beautiful, her testimony was so strong and she is so excited about the gospel. When I was home in June I got to go do baptisms with her at the temple, it was truly wonderful.
Kelsee got married! YAY! Seriously, I am so happy for Kels; she is so happy. We hang out more now than before actually, its great. I think our friendship is as strong as ever and I am loving it.
I turned 20! YAY! The best part of my birthday was that Grant, my best friend from AZ came up to Utah with me for it! We had such a wonderful day. We went on a great bike ride,(LOVED it), went out to dinner (had delicious Indian food from the Bombay House), and then went glow in the dark mini golfing which was an absolute blast! We did very little mini golfing and a lot of picture taking. We set my camera in the jaws of the dinosaur statue, put it on timer, and proceeded to take a billion jumping photos. It was one of the most fun things I have ever done. If all that wasn't enough, Grant had two beautiful buoquets of roses waiting for me when I got home from work that morning. Seriously we had such a wonderful day together :) I love that boy.
All in all life has been a definite learning experience this Summer. I miss Grant all the time and I miss my family but I know that I am doing good things in Utah. I know that everything will work out in the end if I just put my trust in the Lord. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and is aware of me. I am so thankful for the people He puts in our lives, I learn so much from every single person I meet, read their blog, hear a talk from at church, etc. Everyone that we come in contact with, in some way or another can teach us something, we just have to have our hearts open to learning.

Changes!
Hello world!! So life has been great lately, lots of changes are about to happen in my life and I am so excited. First off, my best friend is getting married!!!! WOOO! I am the maid of honor! I am really excited for Kelsee :)
Another thing is that my friend of 11 years has accepted the gospel! I had a Book of Mormon I wrote my testimony in that I wanted to give to her for her 16th birthday but I chickened out. The summer before I came to college I decided to give the book to her, so I did. I was so nervous! But she was grateful and our relationship stayed the same. This was in August of 2008. In February of 2010 I got a facebook message from her saying she had lost my number and to text her. I texted her and asked how life was and she said good and that she had been reading from the book I had given to her. what?!?!! Oh my gosh! I was bursting with happiness! I couldn't contain myself. She then told me she was going to meet with the missionaries. WHOA! So when I was at home for a week between semesters I invited her over for dinner and I could tell she was changing, she was at peace. It was amazing. And she called me a few days later to tell me that she had set a baptismal date :) May 29. I am going home for it. I feel so blessed! It is amazing to me that Mercedez would accept the gospel. It has been one of my dreams for years. I am so thankful for her friend in arizona that invited her to church and who had gospel conversations with her. I hope that someday I will be able to go to Mercedez' wedding inside of the temple :)
Another new thing is that I am plannin on going to Jerusalem for winter semester 2011 study abroad! I am so excited! I think it will absolutely wonderful! I hope I get accepted into the program!
I am full of joy and gratitude.
Life is beautiful, enjoy it.

Happiness
I am happy!! I love life!! I have learned lately that I am capable of way more than I ever thought possible. I can accomplish so many things if I just trust myself and jump in. I went mountain biking in St George a few weeks ago and I was going off of rocks that I never would have thought possible for me to accomplish. I just had to trust myself and trust my bike. There was a time when I went down this steep incline that ended in a drop to the ground. I went down it and lost control and ran into a tree. But, I put my head down and it was just my helmet that made contact with the tree branches. I was completely ok. It made me think about life and how we have to just go out and try things that make us uncomfortable and if we do fail we have our Savior to save us, just like my helmet saved me. Life is good. Be happy :)

Blessings from on High
So I just want to say that my Heavenly Father loves me and is aware of me. This last week I had studied for 10.5 hours for my anatomy lab midterm, something that was stressing me out so bad. I put in so much study time and I went into take my test and I knew everything on the test except for one or two things. I was inspired to study the material that I did and my Hevaenly Father spoke peace to my heart so I did not doubt myself when I was in the test. I wrote down my answers with confidence and left the lab feeling so on top of the world. It wasn't until later that day that I started to second guess myself and to question my answers. I realized that it was Satan who was giving me doubts. When I went to get my test I found that I had earned a 100%. I give all of the credit to my Heavenly Father. I did my part by putting in a large amount of study time and He blessed me with clarity of mind and the ability to retrieve the information I had studied. I am so thankful for the Spirit and the peace it can bring to us if we are prepared and have done our part. I love my Heavenly Father and am so thankful for the gospel and all of the help it gives me in my life.

Bitter
So my friends I must admit that I am starting to become a little bitter. I'm only 19 and the bitterness is setting in, whatttt??? I watch couples at school hold hands or be cute with each other and I feel this twing of I miss that, then I think they are so dumb, and silently not like them. I desire what everyone else in the world desires; companionship and love. I love to be loved and I love to love. Having someone to love and share your happiness and your sadnesses with is wonderful and amazing. We, as humans, desire this love because of the great love our Heavenly Father had for us before we came to this earth. His love is everlasting and eternal. It is the love we can ALWAYS rely on. So I need to turn my bitter attitude around and be happy for those who have love and companionship. I need to focus on the fact that my Heavenly Father loves me eternally and will always be there for me. Someday I will have someone who loves me and with whom I can annoy all of the bitter people ;) but for now I will focus on being happy with myself and making myself the best I can be :)
